After participating in every WoodyFest, Ellis Paul is now considered a festival legacy artist!
Ellis Paul’s latest album 55 was released on June 9, 2023. The title of the album refers to Paul’s age at the start of the 2020 pandemic. Being home during the lockdown gave him time to reflect on his life and the world at large. The new album is largely the result of those reflections.
Over the course of the pandemic, both to stay connected and maintain his sanity, Ellis hosted a weekly livestream show that he dubbed the Traveling Medicine Show. The weekly livestream provided him with the opportunity to connect to his fans virtually.
As Paul’s touring schedule returns to a pre-pandemic level, he is excited to get back on the road performing at many of his favorite venues and welcoming fans in-person. He is looking forward to hosting his 8th New England Songwriters Retreat at the end of August. (See www.newenglandsongwritersretreat.com.)
